Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. Along with BJJ as well, she was also trained in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. In the age of 18, she made her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd was able to take down three opponents in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were defeated within the first few minutes. Ladd returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen and swept her away in unanimity to create a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey in professional boxing. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the the first round via TKO. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: She won the following match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen used the superior abilities she acquired in wrestling to take on McGill. Aspen ended the fight with a the TKO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen defeated Hoy and defeated her in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round later in the 2nd. Her next fight, against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd was victorious at the start of round one, and received the Performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee, she fought Sijara-Eubanks to win her first major fight. Ladd took home the night's fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in hard in a tense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, lost to Randamie. Her most recent bout for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. She was beaten by a majority verdict.
